About the artist
Liza Penn-Thomas
I'm a poet, artist, and learning facilitator working out of Swansea, South Wales.
I am always keen to find new playful ways to invite people of all ages to connect and express through writing, poetry, and performance - helping to improve the wellbeing of individuals and communities. Coming from a creative writing discipline this has often been through supporting literacy skills - working with those facing social and economic deprivation - and most recently through projects encouraging reading and writing for wellbeing.

My own creative work has explored memory, identity, and place through poetry, photography, and meditative practice. With poetry published on both sides of the Atlantic, I am a respected perfomer on the spoken word scene in South Wales and an arts critic.
