Slice n Dice at Storyopolis

Part poetry and part game - the young people at Swansea's Storyopolis Saturday Club got stuck into some Cut-up poetry with me when I was their guest artist in March 2023. Slice n Dice is my way of introducing young people to poetry and is especially suited to those who have never tried writing a poem before. No matter what their age, experience, or ability this playful approach opens up verse creation to all.
As well as developing literacy, communication, and creativity these workshops can reduce stress and contribute to wellbeing. A similar workshop for adults is available as a mindful activity.
